This 9-11" bird is found in the forests of Oahu and Kauai and has been reported in Maui. Introduced in 1931 from Malaysia and also called Shama Thrush. Its song is rich and beautiful and has many phrases. It can mimic other birds. Usually well hidden in the vegetation.
